When not writing, Ann is likely dancing, listening to podcasts, advocating for adoption, or sampling the next perfect dessert. A graduate of UCLA (BA) and Boston University (MS), she’s an active member of SCBWI, and lives in Southern California with her supportive husband, two energetic sons, and canine bestie.

- dislikes: walking into spider webs and TP rolling off the wrong way (up and over is correct!)
- activist for: foster teens and adoption (children and pets)
- loves: family, friends (especially those who really know me and still stick around,) and God (who does the same, only more profoundly)

I grumbled about being asked to greet at Gateway on Christmas Eve, but little did I know it would allow me to reconnect with you, making it all worth while and truly a blessing! I know it was in God’s plan & once again remind myself that He works in mysterious ways and with purpose for His good & mine!
