Having an author at your school or event can inspire kids/adults to read more, get excited about creating written works and dream beyond what they may believe is possible. And it’s certainly a treat for me to interact with students, school staff, and writers while sharing my passion for stories.

“I liked the song that she made up. The assembly was super fun!” – 2nd grade student
“Ann Wang was not only informative but entertaining! When she shared about her journey into becoming a published author, it was priceless and truly resonated with the students. I heard the students compliment her during the day! It was a memorable presentation!” – Joy Laine, 2nd grade teacher

“She taught us about what happened during the Korean War. There were a lot of details in the book.” – 3rd grade student

“My 4th grade students really enjoyed listening to the story, but also learning about the real historical events that occurred during that time in their lives. They had a lot of great questions, and the author Ann Wang was so engaging and answered all the questions beautifully!” – Andrea Corvi, 4th grade teacher

“5th graders were intrigued by her story and are old enough to understand the importance of historical lessons told in fiction or non-fiction settings. They appreciated her engagement with questions and answers.” – Mike Bernstein, 5th grade teacher
“I loved your book a lot like a lot, a lot.” – Asia, 3rd grade student
